You are invited to take part in a study on perceptions of unwanted sex.

This Participant Information Form will help you decide if you would like to take part.  It sets out why we are doing the study, what your participation would involve, what the benefits and risks to you might be, and what would happen after the study ends.  We will go through this information with you and answer any questions you may have. You do not have to decide today whether or not you will participate in this study. If you agree to take part in this study, you will be asked to sign the Informed Consent Form. Please make sure you have read and understood all the pages of the Participant Information Form.
The purpose of the study is to understand how people perceive sex within marriage and the factors that may impact their perceptions. If you have had sexual experiences that made you feel uncomfortable, you may need to think carefully about participating. If you are not alone and scared that someone else might see the survey and your questions, please be informed that every page has a quick exit link. This link will bring you directly to the debriefing page with contact details of some organisations that could provide support and advice about the issues covered in this questionnaire. Moreover, to protect your privacy, don’t forget to clear up your browser’s history.
Your participation in this study will be very valuable as it will provide insight in this new research area and might help in tailoring specific interventions. You can withdraw from the study anytime until you hit the ‘submit’ button. Please note that once the form is submitted, you will not be able to withdraw your responses.
